Every day counts.

Math and 2 Journalism classes were all I took this semester, and it is a very good thing. Considering the load this semester has dealt me personally, academically I haven't been on good standing. After last night though, I know I can't go on thinking about what I thought I had or what I knew was true. I have to stay grounded, keep focused, stay practical, and more than anything-- stay. I am not pitiful. I will not be pitiful. I am scared, lost, and hurt. But I have to graduate, and pay bills, and I want to take on life fully! Even if it seems forever away--- life. :) One day, I'll be okay again. And until then, I'll do what I have to do.

Jessica's Graduation

It is crazy to me how fast time flies! My bff graduated UAB Nursing school Friday night! I was so relieved that the first thing Jessica said after the ceremony as we were getting into Josh's car was "were you guys as bored as we were??" Haha, It was worth it though. And we made up for the boredom at Stix afterwards! :)

Happy weekend everyone!

Press Release

At the beginning of the summer, my boss sent in a Press Release to Charlotte Business news and it was approved! The release stayed on Charlotte's front page for at least 2 weeks. Obviously, I was super excited about it and thrilled to show my family and friends back home. :) I never blogged about it though! So here it is!

Press Release!

ps- it is FRIDAY! I've got a full weekend of packing ahead of me. (And some shopping to do).... Next Saturday I go home. Crazy how fast this time has flown by, and how incredible it all has been. Happy weekend! ~Anna

Faith after High School

Did you know that 80% of #youngpeople after graduation not only leave the church, but abandon their faith... B apart of the change...Join the movement.. I've heard this statistic a lot, and after being in college for 3 years, even if I do attend a private baptist university... I have watched classmates become part of this statistic. The worst for me has been a few of my close, very close, friends, walking away from God and seeing the emptiness it leaves.

I have had the privilege of working with a ministry that wants to take intentional steps to make a difference in the lives of young people.

2011 The Pray With Youth campaign is a stand alone event for churches and faith communities who designate 9.11.11 to commit their congregations to helping young people find their place in the cause of Christ. The goal this year is that 10,000 churches would participate and 250,000 young people would be prayed with to understand their unique calling today.

You can join the movement... You can make a difference... http://www.prweb.com/releases/prweb2011/6/prweb8585029.htm

For those of you who do not know me well, may I introduce you to my infamous and renowned Tuppy Tebow. He is my Maltese, and the source of many great stories. The running joke back home is that Tuppy is not a real dog, he's a girly dog, etc. Tup let everyone know tonight that those rumors are not true.
